A New Life

So it feels like I'm getting a new life. I'm actually getting a whole lot accomplished lately, and I thought, "I haven't updated my blog lately". So here I am. I now work at home, because my work couldn't stand it if I quit. Tom and I have bought a house, and it's very likely that we'll start moving in next week if all goes well. I'm writing more, drawing more, and being more active in all my geek stuff. I feel more excited about things lately. I've been exercising and have more energy (although I'm more hungry sometimes). I've also just go back from vacationing in California, which was a blast. And best of all, I'm only coughing a little. The air filter helped toned it down, but I've been getting a whole lot better, and I'm sure moving out of the big city to a smaller town will be a big help. All in all, I'm hoping that things are turning for the best. I'm in a real good mood.

Gender Confusion Dream

Okay, I really like to talk about some of my dreams. A few nights ago, I had a really interesting one.

First, I have to explain a few things. I really, really love Batman. I love him in a way that is beyond hero worship. I really admire him, even if he is just a fictional character. I love him so much.

Anyway, a few nights ago, I dreamed I was Batman. (This isn't the first time I've dreamed I was Batman. I've also dreamed of being Spiderman, but that's another issue.) So, I'm Batman, and I'm tracking down some really bad thugs. They escape into the church from my hometown. (Yeah, weird). So there's this thing going on at my church that involves all the people from my high school, but everyone is grown up. So I guess it was a high school reunion.

Anyway, the bad guys dress up as women (with bras, hose and girdles), so naturally I have to take off my own disguise. So now I'm Bruce Wayne, walking around with my class mates and talking to them. While I talk to them, I notice all the men pulling their wives and girlfriends closer to them. And I think to myself, "I'm Bruce Wayne. I'm a millionaire playboy. But wait, I'm also a girl. So why are they afraid I'm going to take their wives away."

In my dream, I knew I was a girl, but I was also Bruce Wayne.

Gender confusion.

Maybe that's a little too much of me in a nutshell.

See ya next time.

I Miss You Blog

It certainly been a long time since I blogged. I need to do it more.

I'm just going to post a few highlights of my life.

First off, I've had chest pains and a cough for every. I went to two different doctors who each did a bronchoscopy. The first doctor thought I needed surgery to clear away some scarring around my voice box (Which didn't make sense to me why I was coughing). The second doctor (Who was suppose to do the surgery, but wanted to do a bronchoscopy first) decided I just needed to see a speech therapist (Which made even less sense).

I felt like I was going out of my mind. Then I went to my parents house for a week. They live in a very country place. My cough cleared up almost immediately. Once back in the big city, I was coughing again. We got an air filter for Christmas, so we plugged it in, and I'm feeling great.

Stupid doctors.

The funny thing is that both my husband and I thought that this was the solution in the first place. It sure would have saved us on medical bills.

One of our New Years resolutions is to save more money, so I'm on a tighter budget than usual. And there are things that are coming up that I want to do.

In March, I'm going to Fannatiku, which is a small anime convention. I'm trying to get some small things made to sell at a table there. And then Botcon is in April. And its in Texas, which means my sister and I will be flying.

But that's okay. I have a B-day coming up, and I'll just use the money I get to get what I need.

To finish up this blog, one of the things I got for Christmas was the new Zelda game for the Wii. On Monday, since I had the day off of work, I was going to play it all day. But guess what, I need a special remote for it. I was so mad.

That is, until I played Okami for a while. Now I feel better.

That's been my life in a nutshell for the past few months. I'll tell more of it later.
